Noroviruses and Beyond
Glycans as Drivers in Viral Infection
March 17 – 19, 2016 in Lübeck, Germany
The University of Lübeck welcomes you to our second international norovirus meeting Noroviruses and Beyond – Glycans as Drivers in Viral Infection.
There has been tremendous progress since our last meeting (noro2012 – norovirus and caliciviruses on the rise) and noroviruses continue to play an important role in public health. Our noro2016 meeting is open for all aspects of norovirus and calicivirus biology, it will bring us up to date on norovirus and calicivirus molecular biology, pathogenicity, epidemiology, and vaccine development (see scientific program). Norovirus-glycan interactions are critical for infection and a potential target for antiviral therapy. Investigating this mechanism requires expertise not just in virology but also glycobiology, chemistry, and biophysics. The meeting will therefore also have a special focus virus-glycan interactions, glycovirology, and antivirals. We have a great list of internationally renowned speakers, an exciting program, and a great location. Join us, to discuss research on noroviruses and beyond.
The meeting is held between March 17 – 19, 2016 in Lübeck Germany. The meeting venue is at the media docks conference center conveniently located close to Lübeck’s historic city center.
The organizing committee is looking forward to seeing you all in Lübeck!
